AURA DELIVERS AUSTRALIA’S FIRST ISLAMIC DRONE LIGHT SHOW
Hundreds of AURA drones illuminated the skies above Bankstown Showground across two unforgettable nights, delivering Australia’s first Islamic drone light show.
Created exclusively for the Annual Islamic Eid Show, the bespoke production told the story of Hajj through a series of carefully choreographed aerial formations, bringing one of Islam’s most significant journeys to life in the night sky. Thousands of attendees gathered across the Eid Show weekend to experience the performance, with audiences watching as culture, faith and storytelling were transformed into a large-scale visual spectacle.
For AURA, the show represented much more than a drone display. It demonstrated the unique ability of drone technology to communicate meaningful stories and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
The Annual Islamic Eid Show has become one of Australia’s largest multicultural community events, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year to celebrate faith, culture and community at Bankstown Showground. The drone show formed a key part of the weekend’s entertainment offering and provided a unique way to share an important cultural story with the wider community. (Eid Show in Sydney)
The impact of the show extended well beyond the event itself, attracting significant media attention including coverage from 7NEWS. The national television feature highlighted both the scale of the production and the growing popularity of drone light shows as an innovative form of entertainment and storytelling.
As drone technology continues to evolve, productions such as the Eid Show demonstrate how drone light shows can be used for far more than visual spectacle alone. They offer event organisers, communities and brands a powerful platform to celebrate culture, share stories and create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on audiences.
